I’m a passionate advocate for the empowerment of those whose voices have been silenced. I’ve worked with national non-profit organizations like PAVE – Promoting Awareness Victim Empowerment and RAINN, while staying involved with organizations that uplift my community.
My Passions
PAVE | Promoting Awareness Victim Empowerment, supports and empowers victim-survivors and strives to prevent sexual violence through education, advocacy, and community action. PAVE is a movement creating a world free from sexual violence and building communities to support survivors.
Pillars of Light and Love strives to teach children, teens and adults to reduce stress, have strong self-esteem, overcome anxiety and depression and bullying. Through support and programs, they help build confidence to achieve better coping techniques, positive communication skills, and healthy relationships.
The So Much to Give Cafe‘s mission is to provide a welcoming & inclusive Cafe to empower all, including those with disabilities & their families, to have equal opportunities to work, dine, socialize, volunteer & learn. SO MUCH TO GIVE is a program launched in late 2021 within Pillars of Light and Love.

Pennsylvania State Representative Matt Bradford will join local nonprofit, Pillars of Light and Love, at a ribbon cutting for the official grand opening of their new So Much to Give Inclusive Café, whose mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive experience to empower all people, including those with disabilities and their families, to have equal opportunities to work, dine, socialize, volunteer, and learn.

Open in Cedars: Inclusive café offers opportunities for people with special needs
The So Much to Give Inclusive Café celebrated its grand opening on Saturday, January 21, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Dozens of community members, employees and volunteers braved the cold to attend the celebration. Kathy Opperman, co-founder of the café, thanked everyone for attending and called attention to the 47 employees and 50 volunteers in the crowd. She noted that the community raised over $150,000 for the project’s construction.
Nonprofit Opens Restaurant Designed for Staff and Diners with Special Needs
The Jan. 21 ribbon-cutting of the So Much to Give Inclusive Café in Cedars (near Skippack) marked a complete redefinition of meeting special needs in Montgomery County. The restaurant is an initiative of Pillars of Light & Love, a Collegeville nonprofit dedicated to “stress and life management for ages five to adult.”
